You will be required to service a number of clients providing accurate, timely and competitive pricing. Additionally you will be required to further develop our client portfolio while providing sales projections, budgets and reports to senior management achieve budgeted goals, and provide on-going training and development of staff. You will be required to work closely with production personnel to ensure clients needs and requirements are met. The Successful Applicant It would be desirable for the successful applicant to have technical experience preferably in the metal trades and to have a reasonable understanding of welding codes. You will have a track record in sales and estimating and exposure to Lean Manufacturing and 5S would also be an advantage. The successful candidate will be a quick thinker, a self starter and innovative with proven ability to break down organisational goals (KPIs) and implement action where required, be able to achieve targets, with a vision for the future. Production Manager
Job Description The primary objective of this role is to safely, efficiently and effectively manage production in our modern facility. You will be required to provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management; develop a culture of continuous improvement; achieve budgeted goals, ensure costs do not exceed budget and provide on-going training and development of staff. The Successful Applicant It would be desirable for the successful applicant to be have experience in Production or Manufacturing ideally with fabrication or mechanical experience. You will have a track record of developing staff and improving operations. It would be advantageous if you have implemented Cert IV in Competitive Manufacturing and have had experience with Australian welding codes. The successful candidate will be a quick thinker, innovative with proven ability to break down organisational goals (KPIs) and implement action where required, be able to structure your team to achieve targets, with a vision for the future. You will be required to conduct your duties with limited supervision while working safely and providing components to customer specifications. It is desirable to have skills in the areas of lean manufacturing and 5S while participating in a culture of continuous improvement. The Preferred Applicant should be · Able to programme and set up Mazak machining centre (Mazatrol m plus controller · Able to programme and set up Mazak lathes · Must be ISO fluent (standard G & M codes · Competent in all aspects of manual machining · Minimum of 3 years experience in CNC machining (programming and set up) Highly Desirable · Able to use and generate programs using Mastercam · Able to use and programme Fagor controller on machining centre
